Itâs not goodbye from me, but certainly a tone down, instagram is leaving my phone and my brain space⊠itâs just not healthy.
I only post when I can manage it but my brain and social media are not good friends.
As Iâve got older Iâve been through the mill of emotions, changed careers, become the proud father of two wonderful boys and through thick and thin had my best friend beside me throughout. Without Poppy @familyhappinessconsultant I wouldnât have made it this far in one piece. She has taught me to understand myself, the way I tick and helped me through my darkest times.
It seems corny to say, but I honestly couldnât be happier now, and in stark contrast to where I was only 5 years ago. The last little pruning job is the dreaded doom scroller which is Instagram. Too long has it distracted me and tempted me in with its quick news and algorithms. Itâs so depressing yet infinitely addictive to my hyperactive brain. I will not let it impact my family life, therefore it must go.
You may see the odd business portfolio post (from my computer or iPad) but I canât guarantee Iâll respond to messages quickly. You can always google Flint Conversions and get my number that way.

Another look back at this project in Norwich. This is the new dining space, now open plan to the kitchen. The huge window floods the room with light with the angled windows up high providing sunlight throughout the day. The bench was a major feature if this area, running fully into the window giving the illusion of sitting outside when at the table.

This is part of my largest project this year, working with a great client to design, manage and complete a full width transformative extension to their detached home in Norwich. These images are from what is still aptly dubbed âThe Playroomâ. It is now a wonderful calm space for indulging in music, reading and media.
