Aug ‘25 - Our last day in Cusco & a last minute Google for something to do & we were so pleased we found this animal sanctuary! Turned out to be one of our highlights from the trip. Getting to go in the enclosures & have an Andean Condor (worlds largest flying bird) fly at us & land next to us was something else.

After an early start, a huuuge queue & a rickety bus to get here for 8am we sat & waited almost 2 hours for the clouds to disperse - but it was worth the wait!

3 years ago today we picked up this strange, hilarious, cuddly, sleepy creature that is the weirdest dog I’ve ever known. Although it hasn’t all been a walk in the park (get it?) & I’m paying for more iCloud storage for all photos of his weird & wonderful sleeping positions - he still manages to make us laugh nearly every day 🥰
