I thought it was just me, but it seems a lot of players agree: that Opryhouse stage is humbling. The players, crew, and staff all rule, and it’s always a great time, but something about it just gives you the shrivels. Maybe it’s the blazer. Anyway, thanks to my pal @rachaelblount_music for sending this! Always making noise somewhere, but I forget to share.
Having a blast recording some tracks of one of our favorite bands. @rayluzierkorn laid down the drums and @billysheehanonbass threw down the bass. Not literally I’m doing the guitars because the guitarist of this band is my favorite guitarist and the reason I started playing guitar. And @tripperryder just blowing us away with his vocals. So hang tight and we will get this out. 🤘.
Two weeks from today WE’RE BACK at the @eastsidebowl .. the first time around was so much fun and we can’t wait to do it again! Put it on your calendar!
This one was especially special for getting to reconnect with the Scotty Squad (it’s a testament to good leadership to see the same faces after all these years). It’s a lucky thing to get to make music with your friends, and in my case it’s better to be lucky than good 🤩👍
