Thank you for The Riffraff for live music, and I want to thank you, all the dancers, that keep coming back to TSS because without you, this would not exist! 💜 Thank you Kasey: helping with marketing, all the posters you see are her design, she helps me run TSS when I’m sick or if I’m traveling, she plays funky DJ sets— Kati calls them Kasey’s happy hours. Kasey helps also to demonstrate during classes and is TSS’s social butterfly 🦋. 💜 Thank you Hank, another board member of ours. He has generously donated money for live music for this year, 2026. We are super grateful for that support and that we can keep inviting live music and support musicians! Before his cancer diagnosis, he taught TSS beginner lessons every other week, super grateful for that help, and I wish he will be back on board with that as soon as he will recover. He also helps us organize TSS workshops. We can use a beautiful schoolhouse over in Marietta! 💜 We also have Elaine on the board. So grateful for her and her skills with spreadsheets, and she is helping us teach classes and just being around as a super nice, positive, and encouraging person! 💜 We have our advisory board members, Peter, and Victoria. They also help out when I’m gone, and you can meet them always by the check-in table. Peter has marvelous ideas for theme parties, and he very often makes baskets for funky little competitions that we have during social dances. He also brings snacks. Victoria helps with grant writing; we are a small non-profit after all. 💜 And then we have all the teachers and DJs that help us to run the classes and keep dancing going.
