When I first started making matcha ice cream some 15+ years ago, I had to search far and wide for the necessary green powder. Living in Edinburgh, the only place I could get it was a cake shop that agreed to sell me a small bag from their specially imported supply. Now matcha is everywhere, which is wonderful. It’s one my favorite flavors, and among the easiest to make. We served this batch with Oreos, inspired by @chinatownicecreamfactory
