This one feels different. Feels unreal that after all the dreaming, hard work, and collaboration I finally get to share this with y’all! “For Your Glory EP” is OUT NOW and I hope you love it. 🙌 But more than anything, I’m praying the Lord will use it for our good and his glory.

Worship isn’t a genre, It’s a response. It’s an expression that acknowledges the greatness of God. BRAG WORSHIP is a new expression. Songs for me and songs for you. Songs for us to declare simple truths about God together, and boldly. Songs for us to BRAG. “FOR YOUR GLORY” EP OUT 2/13.

We are all being discipled by something. The question is whether it’s the world or the Word. In this episode of Everyday Radical, Trip Lee talks about the power of music, the values it reinforces, and why Christians should think carefully about what they let shape their hearts. The church is diverse on purpose. So our worship should make room for that. This week on Everyday Radical, David and Austin talk with Trip Lee about creativity, cultural expression, and why Christian unity is deeper than shared preferences—it is rooted in Jesus. Listen wherever you get your podcasts.

Drums are not inherently sinful. Harps are not inherently holy. Trust that God is using Christian rap music to draw people to Himself. People listen to music more than they listen to their audio Bibles. People listen to music more than they’re in the church. Christian rap music is ministering to people. We can say “life is hard” and “God is good” in the same breath. The Psalms are full of pain. God wants us to bring our pain into worship and then stand it up next to Him and His goodness. Trip Lee talks about his new song, “Fortress,” based on 2 Corinthians 12:10 about boasting in our weakness. “I’m weakest when I’m strongest in my eyes. I’m hopeless when I rejoice in my highs. Lord, keep me low until I recognize I’m feeble til my fortress arrives.” Check out For Your Glory, the new worship project from BRAG WORSHIP & @triplee , wherever you listen to music. @triplee is an author, teacher, and hip-hop artist who recently released new worship music titled “For Your Glory.” He joins Jackie and Preston for a conversation about worship music, rap music, and the importance of music in our lives as followers of Jesus. Music plays a major role in spiritual formation – singing truth helps us remember and believe what is true about God. Worship is not just the fluff before a sermon; it’s a response to who God is. Ultimately, worship is about making much of Jesus, and it’s something we’re called to participate in together. It’s funny how every new thing gets questioned. There was a time when even harmonies in church music were seen as “too much” - like they couldn’t possibly honor God. Which sounds wild now… but at the time, it was just unfamiliar. I think sometimes we’re quick to label something as wrong simply because it’s new to us. Maybe instead of shutting things down so quickly we could stay a little more curious.

What a good word from Trip Lee! If we are in Christ, no matter what life throws at us, we are safe, not just for now, but for all eternity. True peace is found in Christ alone. 🎧 Join us on Sing to listen to the full episode (link in bio)
