This Sunday, May 17, join us for the Dean’s Forum on the History of Cathedral Hall at 10:10 a.m.
Built in 1895, Cathedral Hall served as the cathedral’s original worship space while the cathedral was under construction. Since then, it has held generations of prayer, music, meals, films, and student gatherings, and continues to shape our shared life today.
As we look ahead to the next chapter in Cathedral Hall’s life and ministry, this conversation connects deeply with our ongoing work to care for, renew, and invest in this sacred space for generations to come.
Please note: Bible study is canceled this Sunday.

The Rev. Canon Adrienne Koch will begin a sabbatical this Sunday after services and will return for worship on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
A sabbatical is a planned time of rest and renewal for Episcopal clergy—rooted in prayer, study, and reflection—offered every several years of ministry to sustain long-term faithful leadership. It is not a vacation, but a season intended for spiritual refreshment and growth, benefiting both priest and congregation.
Adrienne’s last Sunday with us before her sabbatical will be May 17. Please keep her in your prayers during this important season of renewal.
Join us tonight (5/14) at 6:00 p.m. for our Ascension Day service — our final evening worship service until October. The choir will perform John Rutter’s "O Clap Your Hands" and Leo Sowerby’s "The Lord Ascendeth," and the Rev. Megan Allen-Miller will preach.
If you’re attending worship at Trinity Cathedral on Sunday, May 10 or Sunday, May 17, please plan ahead for travel impacts:
🚧 Construction along Prospect Ave is currently affecting parking lot entry and exit—please use extra caution and allow extra time.
🏃♂️ On May 17, the Cleveland Marathon will also cause road closures that may affect your route. If needed, pick up a service access pass at the front desk to help you reach Trinity for Sunday worship.
Thank you for your flexibility as we navigate these temporary changes.

Join us in honoring World Labyrinth Day with a time of reflection and prayer tomorrow, Sunday, May 3, between the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. services. A labyrinth will be available in Conference Room C/D as a quiet space for walking meditation, spiritual grounding, and renewal. All are welcome to pause, walk, and find stillness in the midst of the morning.
Last weekend, Dean Owens attended the annual gathering of the North American Cathedral Deans in San Diego, joining deans from across the United States and Canada for worship, conversation, and shared learning.
The group met at St. Paul’s Cathedral San Diego, where participants exchanged experiences and resources from their diverse cathedral settings. These kinds of connections strengthen our shared ministry and help Trinity Cathedral deepen its service to the city of Cleveland and the wider Diocese of Ohio.

Tonight at Expansive Evensong at 6:00 p.m., we honor Catherine of Siena. Youngest of twenty-five children, Catherine Benincasa of Siena experienced a vision at age six that set her on a lifelong path of prayer, service, and fearless witness. Though criticized and misunderstood, she remained committed to Jesus and served the sick during times of plague. Her spiritual authority grew, and her letters to popes and rulers urged peace and reform during the great papal schism. She is remembered for her mystical writings and her unwavering conviction that God had claimed her heart completely.
Thank you to all who joined us last week for the Legacy Circle Founding Members event—we are so grateful for your presence, generosity, and commitment to Trinity’s future.
