Well done to TAP ambassador Piotr who has received Schols! Read what this incredible achievement means to him below: "So thankful to be here. To join the likes of Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker and many other incredible alumni, as a Scholar of Trinity College Dublin. For context, the Foundation Scholarship is the most prestigious undergraduate academic honour in Ireland. It is awarded on the back of a first class average, in the opt-in Foundation Scholarship exams taken in 2nd year, more commonly known as Schols. These exams test academic mastery of a student’s area of study, as well as independent contribution, unique perspectives and critical analysis. It has given me hope for the future, to be able to be able to work and give back to those like myself who had to overcome homelessness at a young age. I will continue to learn and become a person capable of making a positive difference on the world. Thank you so, so much to those who supported me along the way".

𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 #𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 Helen Monahan demoed the Dimply platform, Adhip Gupta joined the panel on turning AI insight into action, and with Eoin O Shea, they spent the day on the stand having some excellent conversations and making connections across the Irish funds community. The theme, 𝗔𝗜 & 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, set the tone for a day. Less about what AI might do, more about how teams and the human connection are actually putting it to work with the right oversight. Great to see @basis.point and @trinity_access_programmes as the benefiting organisations for the day. Huge thanks to the @fundrecs team for hosting such a great event. #Adminovate2026

🎓Recently TAP celebrated the end of this year’s Law Tasking Outreach Programme 2025-2026 in @trinitycollegedublin 🧑🏼‍⚖️👩🏽‍⚖️ Now in its third year with Trinity Access Programmes, three 4th class groups from TAP linked primary schools took part in this legal learning experience designed to introduce young students to the world of law through creativity, teamwork and fun interactive challenges inspired by the hit TV show Taskmaster. @schooltasking @schooltasking is a public legal education initiative created by @uniofwarwick and is now run by 35 universities across the UK and Ireland. The Law Society of Ireland @lawsocietyireland became the first institution to introduce School Tasking to Ireland in 2023 and has successfully delivered the programme every year since. In 2024 TAP & Trinity College came on board! Each year a Regional Final is held at the Law Society of Ireland where teams representing their schools take part in a day of challenges to try and secure victory to earn a place at the Champion of Champions final at Warwick University  The programme is made possible by a team of talented Law students in Trinity @tcd_law @tcdlawsoc who are members of the Free Legal Advice Centre (FLAC) Society @trinityflac led by their chairperson @dariajedruch & the School of Law in Trinity College Dublin. These volunteers deliver four 90-minute workshops to the 4th class students in their classrooms.  Shout out to @ruttttrracey for her work at @lawsocietyireland and to Dr Ali Struthers @uniofwarwick & to Dr David Fennelly from @tcd_law for his time speaking to students at their graduation day! 🎓🎓 A huge thank you to the Trinity College EDI Team for funding the programme in 25/26 @tcd_edi and making it possible for all participating students to enjoy a fantastic graduation celebration on campus with caps and gowns, a hot lunch in the Dining Hall, TCD swag and merch and certificates of completion! The TAP schools who took part this year were: ✅ Marist Primary School, Crumlin @maristprimaryschool ✅ St Christopher's Primary School, Haddington Road ✅ City Quay NS, Gloucester Street

On Friday 8th May the Trinity Access Programmes TY Anatomy Outreach Day took place with students from 14 DEIS schools in attendance The day aims to give students an authentic idea of what it’s like to study Anatomy at @trinitycollegedublin and to raise awareness about Anatomy as a subject across a range of health science courses. Students got the chance to visit the Old Anatomy museum at Trinity College, learn about Anatomical practices in the past including how doctors got their donor bodies in the past from grave robbing and body snatching! Students also worked with Dr Neil Fleming and his team at the human performance Labs. The day wrapped up with a tour of Glasnevin cemetery led by Warren Farrell who is one of our tour guides and also access outreach coordinator at TAP! #glasnevincemetery #schooltour #trinitycollege #trinityaccessprogramme #education

Today the 2026 TAP Mentor Reading Club Graduation took place at @chaptersbookstore 🎓📚 Our graduation ceremonies usually take place in @trinitycollegedublin but today students got to graduate surrounded by books in the An Post bookshop of the year @irishbookawards Massive thank you to all at Chapters Bookstore for hosting us & to @kidsbooksirel for their continued support in making this programme happen. 36 6th class students from Drimnagh Castle Primary @cbs_drimnaghcastle and Scoil Mhuire in Blakestown, along with their TY mentors from Drimnagh Castle Secondary @drimnaghcastlecbs and @blakestowncs Blakestown Community School attended the day! This mentor programme aims to bring local TY students into their local primary schools to use reading, books and literacy to support 6th class students as they get ready for the transition to secondary school. Today students worked with their mentors and had a mini graduation ceremony, got a tour of the shop, all got goody bags and a took part in a brilliant "how to choose your book" workshop with Dr Becky Long from Children's Books Ireland. 📚Every student got to take home at least one book! To quote Chapters Bookshop themselves: "A bookshop should not just be a place where books are sold. It should be a place where readers are made, encouraged, welcomed and occasionally let loose with a discount." Congratulations to all the amazing students and mentors, and thank you to all who help to make this happen!
