Sound up! This piece honestly took on a life of its own. I wanted to make something that felt like me while learning along the way—not knowing at all if it would even work.
I was basically kitchen-sinking it—running through tools like crazy—so it took on a bunch of different shapes, and a lot of video generations are now living on the edit bay floor.
At some point, I had to put a cap on perfection and call it done once it captured the feel I was going for.
At the end of the day, my work is always inspired by the CULTURE, so bringing Neural City to life in a music video format just felt natural. No script. New tools. Just making what I thought was dope.
And if I needed a shot, I could literally pull it out of my mind. Not always a perfect translation, for sure—but still a pretty eye-opening experience that sold me on the future possibilities.
