If you know me, you know this one hits different.
For years while I was living in Buenos Aires DJing & producing events with
@swervba breaking artists from back home and sharing our culture with Argentines, there was always something in the back of my mind: one day we really need to do a bass party back home in Atlanta.
To be able to do that now, in this city, is full circle.
I’m deeply honored to be building this alongside the insanely talented
@ill_wink who has put the movement on his back as well as
@werc_crew . They are real references in the Atlanta scene for me. People who have protected, evolved, and pushed bass culture forward here for years. To collaborate instead of just admire from afar means a lot.
And this lineup… every DJ on it is someone I consider essential to where bass sounds are right now in the city. Not trend riders. Culture shapers. The kind of artists who understand the roots and still push things forward.
Huge shoutout to the legend
@freakorico for the iconic illustration. You captured the spirit of this perfectly.
Southern Bass Revival is more than a party. It’s a call to action.
To get back on the dance floor.
To move our bodies again.
To embrace the sounds that are authentically ours, from yesterday to today.
The rest of the world already loves the South for its bass. It’s time we celebrate it properly at home.
Atlanta, this one’s for you. Miami, we’ll see you soon. 🍑🍊
