You sure know how to put on a show. Swim got delayed due to thunderstorms & then later shortened to 900m
We had every season imaginable on the bike ☀️💨⛈️⚡️💧The bike was tough, bumpy roads that vibrated through your body but at the same time a good honest course. It’s no secret that I love my bike & I LOVED the challenge this course presented.
The run was hot & humid before the heavens opened again. I struggled a bit with the heat but kept it together for the most part. There were buckets full of sweat & determination on Sunday.
Really happy to walk away with 2nd place in my AG. Every step was a fight. Couldn’t ask for more than that 💖
Thank you to those who are always in my corner. You all mean the world to me 🫶🏼

• Still trying to process it all… 3rd in my AG at Ironman Copenhagen 🥉🇩🇰
The lead up to this race was far from perfect, and I went into it unsure how things would unfold. I felt confident in the swim and bike, but the run was a complete unknown. Race day wasn’t without its challenges & although I didn’t quite hit the original goal, I still came away with a PB & that means the world. 🙌
Usually I walk away picking apart the things that went wrong, but this time is different. This time I’m just grateful. Grateful I got to do what I love, grateful I crossed that finish line healthy and smiling & grateful for every single person who’s been in my corner through this journey.🩷 Never taking any finish line for granted.
This medal means everything. 🏅✨ Thank you for lifting me up, believing in me & reminding me why I do this.
Copenhagen, you’ll always have a piece of my heart. 🫶🏼

IM Austria 🇦🇹 did not disappoint. Came here not quite sure what to expect.
The swim in the Wörthersee was spectacular with aqua blue waters. I struggled in the first 1500m on the swim. I wasn’t relaxed and couldn’t get into a rhythm. Once I relaxed it went well and I got out of the water with a swim PB.
The bike was AMAZING!!
The roads are smooth and fast. What dreams are made off. The first loop of the bike course is really fast 💨 Onto the second loop and that is where most of the climbing happened. Some of it was a bit testing but the views made up for it. I did find the bike to be a bit congested at times and not being able to get passed the odd group. I loved the bike non the less.
I started the bike 15min behind the leader in my AG. I rode myself into 1st place getting off the bike. Super happy with the fastest bike time in my AG
The run was a bit of an unknown. I just stuck to the plan and was hoping I could hold it. I struggled with some leg spasms/cramps on the second part of the run 😵💫 not so fun! I gave it everything I had and I still got a run PB. 💥
I unfortunately couldn’t hold on to the top step but still crossed the line in 3rd place. 🥉🥲
So happy with how the race went. I gave it my all on the day. I couldn’t go much harder and achieved a massive IM PB.
Couldn’t do it without the love and support of the people behind me. Thank you 🙏🏻🩷

Sometimes it’s just being outside, moving your body & realising you’re genuinely happy in that exact moment.
No big lesson. No deep quote.

•• A big week of training with a brilliant group of athletes. 🏊🏻♀️🚴🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️ There were plenty of laughs and great team spirit every single day.
Making the most of Calpe’s rolling hills and long climbs on the bike, plenty of time in the pool with some 1:1 technique and breathing work, plus some quality track sessions and a few easier runs along the coast.
A real privilege to be on camp with this group! It was great to see the consistency and the progress across the week. Lots to build on. Bring on race season 🔥
