We made this spec commercial as a tribute to mate — a drink you’ve probably seen in the hands of Messi and many other players. But mate is more than just a drink... it’s a moment shared. When Stanley announced their collaboration with Messi, we thought it was the perfect time to tell the story behind this tradition — the way we know it. So, with a small team of Argentinians (and a few other Latinos), we got together in South Florida to shoot this poetic take on what mate really means to us.
