At the end of March, we had the pleasure of covering @cleopatrickband ’s gig — a young rock duo from Canada. Raw, loud, and unapologetically authentic, they are the kind of band you will want to say you saw before they blew up.

Last week, the news came out that @rsammarelli is no longer in the band. I wish her a wonderful new chapter and look forward to seeing how @verdena_official will progress. I loved looking back through my hard drive and found these images that I published in B/W in XL La Repubblica. Looking at them now, I also love all the images in colour so much! It was a dream to meet them in 2016 and shoot their gig in London at the @o2acadislington . Their music inspired me and remains an incredible part of my life.

There was also a great new concept for the crowd this year – you could choose your favourite genre through your wristband. All you had to do was press blue or red, and your choice shaped the vibe. We implemented interactive buttons for the public to see the set change and come to life as they made their way into the space. Simple, interactive, and it brought the audience into the show in a whole new way.
Behind the decks, under the lights, through the build, and across the daylight hours – we’ve got soooo much more to share. Future posts will show you more of the journey. 🚀
