The story of Triage Creative - In the spring of 2016 I found myself on a tourism shoot in Central Chile along side a cameraman I’d never met, Tommy Joyce aka
@tjtriage . We briefly said hello at the airport gate before settling in for a long flight, characteristically hitting the ground running on the production directly on arrival. Over the course of the next 2 weeks we slowly got to know one another, playfully seeing who could out fly the other with a drone, or who could withstand the icy cold water the longest while shooting surfing in the water, and ultimately who could out work the other, with a lot of laughs and some good old fashion suffering along the way. By the end of the trip I knew that Tommy was someone I wanted to work with again, and I began reaching out to him for a multitude of roles ranging from Editor, Producer to Director of Photography. With every passing trip it was apparent that his hustle and artistic skills were only growing stronger and stronger. Throughout 2020 we started working on a documentary together, a project that would ultimately fall through, but one that strengthened our bond. During this process I watched as Tommy veraciously and passionately worked, running crews, taking on elevated roles in every stage of production, and even the highly loathsome, yet essential, business side of things, always with a passionate mindset. As opportunities continued to present themselves we decided to officially partner, founding Triage Creative, which has been growing strong every year since. During this time, we’ve shot, produced and directed nearly 50 campaigns, 2 feature docs, and a multitude of photo assignments. It’s been a great ride, but the thing we’ve neglected the most during this time is our marketing, sharing the work we’ve done that I’m genuinely proud of. I wanted to start of 2024 by showcasing some of these projects, and to start, it feels appropriate to begin our reel, hope you enjoy!
