1. Making aesthetics your goal. Instead, exercise should be about moving and feeling better, aesthetics is a natural result. 2. Maintaining a stiff spine. While that's important for avoiding injury when lifting heavy, don't forget to exercise all your stabilizing muscles by encouraging more spinal rotation with lighter weights. What you don't use, you lose. Rope flow is one way to get more spinal rotation in. 3. Strength training only. Fitness is a lot more than just muscles, work on your balance, stamina, bone density, coordination, and more. All of these will come in useful when you're older even if you aren't an athlete. 4. Pushing hard all the time. Yes, it feels good to hit a new personal record; but otherwise, most of your workouts probably leave your body in pain. Pain is good, but in moderation. Your workouts can be relaxing and meditative too. #ropeflow #fitness #exercise #workout

Hanging out with @chuongacmvn at Lap An Lagoon. Chuong has been an inspiration. He picked up rope flow as an alternative to stay fit despite worsening health conditions due to diabetes which prevents him from hiking and jumping rope. He puts in 2000 swings every morning, 1000 after lunch, and another 1000 before bed. #ropeflow #lowimpactworkout #diabetes
