Some old film with some new words on the famous and empty Route 66.
Seemingly familiar places look strange from new eyes and the mirrors that gave comfort are now harsh in winter’s sun. Water is scarcely found, and when it is, the stillness reminds you to be the same. They say the desert grows on you, and after all the dust is rubbed from your eyes, you can begin to see why.

A recap from my first art gallery.
It was an extreme honor to have my work showcased among so many other talented artists. I had never before seen my pictures on such a grand scale and it was both humbling and so encouraging to say the least. Photography has lead me on a journey I never thought I’d be a part of, but I am elated to be here, to create these pieces and to consider myself an artist in any light. None of it is possible without the people who help usher you to great heights.

This premonition: foldable, replaceable, and relevant. They didn’t say much with their words, but I could see it made them happy to say something with a sign at least. He had a bundle of similar sayings, and I watched him dance in his peaceful protest for some time before asking to take his portrait. It’s small outspoken moments like this that remind me to be grateful we all have the chance to express our minds and hearts. Regardless of your choice, I’m glad you have one.

It was my first time using the Pentax 67, and due to its ease of use, I shot half the roll in a very short amount of time, with no regrets. Lomo purple is always a great surprise, and this has now convinced me llama’s look most natural in a purple world.
