Rainclouds building in French Polynesia. Time to record some underwater rain with my hydros. Link to listen in bio. #fieldrecording #listening #naturesounds
I left a giant underwater cube of 8 hydrophones hanging from this catamaran in French Polynesia for several days. Some storms blew over and I was able to record underwater rain. The rain plus the electric pops of the snapping shrimp combine to create a sci-fi precipitation sound that would fit perfectly in Blade Runner. Hear it in my new sound library. Underwater rain + snapping shrimp = Blade Runner rain. It is a beautiful, electric, sci-fi precipitation that I didn't know existed...until I happened to record it with a 3D hydro drop rig. 24-hour release sale. Link to listen in bio. #fieldrecording #listening #nature
