The DCiRX is the first Zaxcom receiver to feature Direct Conversion technology. Essentially, Direct Conversion applies a hardware filter per channel before the A-to-D converter, eliminating off-channel interference at the source, rather than digitizing a wide block of spectrum at once. The DCiRX includes this and many more advanced features, all powered by two AA batteries. And yes, that's right. Lectrosonics is now a microphone manufacturer! Their S1 short shotgun mic is a lightweight supercardioid shotgun built for location sound, film, and broadcast. Featuring an RF-biased true condenser capsule with 10 dB(A) self-noise.
