THIS YEAR WAS FOR KURT. Living in Seattle in the early 90s, to moving several times and trying to fit in while being me, and always creating art in any form, this meant more to me than most would know, and thus I had to go over the top to make this montage honoring the legend Cobain and one of the truest bands we all know of or know too well. To think just last year we were closing after the minister of sound himself, watching him jump between tracks, samples, and throw in his own live vocals when he played his own cuts…. When he ended and we took over, I gave him the universal handshake/shoulder pat hug, and he said “keep ‘em groovin!” … I’ll never forget that, and the privilege of sharing the stage, doing what we love, with @roncarrollbmc 🫶🏁
