So this last month and a half has been a hard one, and I haven’t really talked about it because there’s just been a lot going on but thought I’d share now; early last month, my mom, out of nowhere, suffered a severe stroke (a subarachnoid hemorrhagic stroke to be specific) which is the most severe stroke a person can have; her mortality rate was at 90%, meaning she only had a 10% chance of making it; the good thing though is she is going to be ok, she’s been making a great recovery in the hospital and will be leaving to go home soon, but still it was a weird feeling to almost lose a parent, especially since I’m so close with her as well. And then I realized I don’t really share pics of her on Insta (and she doesn’t have any social media to speak of) so here a few my moms friends sent over in the days after her episode; she’ll have a long recovery ahead of her, but for now, I’m just grateful to have my mom with me still; love you lots Mom! ❤️❤️❤️
