Well, that was fun! Henceforth I am part cat, after inhabiting this curious aria about Androcles removing a thorn from the paw of a lion. (Sull'arena di barbara scena) Do you know how the 🦁 allegory ends? In the context of Imeneo, it is a jewel in a gorgeous little operatic tiara. The twist at the end, and the variety of styles make the piece well worth exploring. Bravo @cambridge_handel_opera for bringing this to the stage!
