Coucou!

Most things in the studio are built by us. It’s not perfect, but we like that! it keeps changing and growing as we use it. It helps us see how our ideas work with real people in the space kinda like inviting people into our living room ! It’s a lot of fun making things and doing it with friends. The wall nook was made with simple, inexpensive materials to divide the small space, still a work in progress! The aluminum table was designed by us and built by @alexouzilleau Chair, wall lamp, and print by @charlesforscale Photographed by @davidhurteau

C’est très simple, on vous offre du vin et des snacks, on ouvre les portes, on fait de la poterie et on s’amuse. Vraiment une bonne place pour rencontrer une belle personne aussi!! 🫦 Inscription en ligne ⚽️

Melbourne was so good! if you’ve ever had your heart in two places, you know how it feels 2 leave one behind, but to have the chance to come back and be supported&elevated by a group of friends is something so special, only a short period of counted time could allow. At @stony.grad we experimented, ate, read, rested and enjoyed the full company of two precious friends. I found my peace in my treehouse. Up the ladder and alone with my thoughts and dreams. I feel like these 4 walls know me. We took the time to learn about Danila Vassilieff, the man who built this house, and found an illustrated version of Peter and the Wolf by him, Charles dad read him the french version as a kid! We met some Warrandyte locals with big hearts and big dreams too. Obsessed with @fieldday.warrandyte and @warrandytepottery 🩵 With the GIRLS, we danced and laughed and transcended to heaven through a perfectly bleached hair and dirty martini combo. In the city, we went to the pub, had Italian, Claire showed us how to make glazes using second life materials and ofc good coffee. we also had an exhibition at @brunswickstreetgallery and we returned home with lighter suitcases and fully inspired 🦭🩵♻️🌺🫧🪲🪽 thank u so much!

It’s really nice here @stony.grad the painting in the cave is by Danila Vassilieff, the artist who built this house in the 1930’s

First week at Stony Grad. Taking in the luxury of time, friends and nature. We’ve been digging wild clay from the property and eating well. Charles worked on a sculpture made from fallen eucalyptus and red gum trees. It feels right at home. @stony.grad @charlesforscale
