I love this one—it comes in 2 heights, “Shorty” and “Tallboy” with a line and full version that can be used on their own or in tandem. Pairs great with illustrations and on posters and whatever other nonsense you might get up to. 🐛

On keeping your creative fire lit 🔥 This morning, we had the absolute privilege of hearing from renowned violinist @kianajunehowley for this month’s ‘ember’ theme. This talk hit in all the right ways - and even inspired some impromptu dancing! Kiana spoke about what it really means to tend your own creative spark - how protecting and nurturing that inner ember has led her to build not just a life in the arts, but a sustainable and thriving one (no small feat). In a world that’s moving faster than ever (hi, AI!), her reminder felt especially urgent: the most valuable thing you have is the thing that makes you you. Being being an incredible artist, Kiana is a sharp business mind and currently earning her MBA at @uofmichigan . That balance between art and business is one that so many creatives struggle with. Hearing from someone actively doing both (and doing it well) was equal parts grounding and energizing. Every month, these mornings leave us feeling inspired (and honestly a little in awe of how many wildly talented humans call Ann Arbor home). Huge thanks to @morganburgardart for continuing to curate such a thoughtful, powerhouse lineup 💫 Next month: we’re heading into the workshop with Mark Tucker, founder of Festifools - you won’t want to miss this one. Watched Jurassic Park on the plane. It’s so dang good—best movie ever made IMHO. 🦖🦖🦖 Had fun drawing and redrawing (and redrawing 😬) the trex head to get it to work. Person next to me on the plane must had fun watching me struggle 😅

Very proud to announce that my poster, “Upta Camp”, has been selected as part of the @aigamaine 2026 Poster show! This year’s theme was Language, so I knew I had to dive into some of those famous Mainer-isms. Special thanks to @bogelerone for being my linguistic spirit guide. You can see all the posters on display starting May 1st in Portland, Bangor, and Bar Harbor through the rest of the year. Really excited about this one! 🍻🌳
