A little walk through of my light installation “dunkelkammer”. This project is a result of a technical and historical research into cameras, lenses and analog light printing methods.
Thanks to everyone who came!

The Centerpiece is designed for serving and presenting food during festive meals. It can be quickly assembled and packed flat, making it practical to store and transport.
The design is inspired by the elaborate table settings of baroque banquets, where the extravagant dinnerware and table architecture played a central role in the dining experience. The Centerpiece translates this historical reference into a modern, functional object that is simple to set up and effortlessly turns a regular dinner table into a festive dining experience.

The light installation “Dunkelkammer” (Ger. “dark room”) produces unique photographs of light refracted through water.
The liquid lenses, distort light into caustic projections that are captured as photograms on UV-sensitive paper.
The installation translates the technical principles of photography into both a captivating play of light and one-of-a-kind analog prints. The works are produced in real time, allowing the audience to follow the process in a lab like atmosphere.
