🖤🖤 Not easy to photograph with a prime 50mm lens in the city, but when it works, it works. Ortho film is also getting to be a favorite for fully sunlit scenes. #ilfordorthoplus80 #nikonf2 #50mmlens

Moving with the trees. Accepting their kinship while acknowledging the physical difference that stays as scratches and bruises on both my and their bodies. It’s the only way. One cannot take without giving. A strong bond can never be born in a place of comfort alone. Nikon F2, 50mm, Delta 3200, Rodinal. #ilforddelta3200 #ilfordphoto

One very cold (-10C) winter day a few years back, I found myself at a place where they train dogs’ shepherding skills. I can’t say I’m thrilled about the exploitation of sheep for this purpose. It’s always a struggle to balance my rather radical (by mainstream standards) animal liberation views and being confronted by such practices through personal relations. How do you stay true to your convictions without completely alienating everyone? Nikon F2, 50mm, Ilford Delta 400, Rodinal. #ilfordphoto #analogphotographer #map6collective

Experiencing the world upside down, even at this height, yields such a shift of perception. You are reminded of how two-dimensional and one-directional we mostly are (or have become?) as a species. @mascularstudio @crotchmagazine @truck.stop.magazine @homostash
