Join Easy Treesie and the Tree Council of Ireland on Wednesday 20 May for our fourth annual Biodiversity Week online talk series.
The programme includes:
• 40 Years of Biodiversity Action in Ireland – The Story of the Tree Council (Part 1 & 2)
• How Urban Parks Function as Vital Biodiversity Corridors with Dr Christy Boylan
A newly recorded version of Christy Boylan’s special talk on the history of the Tree Council will give audiences an opportunity to revisit the story of the organisation, the people who helped shape it and the milestones reached over the past forty years.

Growing a Greener Future Together - Women Planting Hope at Powerscourt Estate.
To celebrate International Women’s Day and National Tree Week, women gathered at Powerscourt Estate to plant the beginnings of a native Irish mini forest.
The plantation will include 1,800 native Irish trees, helping to restore habitat for wildlife and support biodiversity across the Estate.
Planting trees is one of the simplest ways we can help nature thrive — and connect with the land around us. 🌿
