I remember when him and I flew up to Darwin and ran amok with the SOE boys, skulling back at Nightcliff high one night and everybody except Atticus (I’m hard pressed to remember a time he ever ran from the law lmao) legged it when the cops pulled up and we watched from the oval as they surrounded him on their usual intimidation tactics BS, eventually all walking over to stand by him and have his back because that’s what friends do, in life, and in death.
