Today was an emotional journey hiking with Steve from @thetreeprojects visiting the “Grove of Giants” . It’s one thing to view the pictures from afar but it’s a whole other experience wrapping your arms around these beautiful 500yr+ yr old majestic giants. I have travelled the world extensively in my lifetime and have been blessed to have visited some of our most incredible wonders, but nothing comes close to this today. The old girl gave everyone so many great memories at this year’s 2026 @melbflowershow . From children & families sitting inside crawling through or just giving her a big hug, I honestly believe that she felt everyone’s affection and respect. We all shared lots of emotions together and I couldn’t be more proud of the thousands of pictures that everyone took inside of her that will last forever. I’m now happy to share that she’s safely back home in our studio in Lilydale. If anyone wants to come out to give her more hugs, keep an eye out for our exhibition in May #healing #community #art #trees #education

Grove of Giants - part 2. Approximately 1 1-2 hrs out of Hobart some of the world’s most magical wonders wait for you. 60-70-80+ metres tall with girths of up to 15-18m at 1.3m above ground level. They are just so beautiful. I’d encourage everyone to get in contact with Steve from the @thetreeprojects to organise a guided tour around these majestic giants as it’s a tricky grove to find. The Arboricultural National Conference for 2026 in Hobart is a tremendous success. Coinciding with the ATCC “Australian Tree Climbing Championships”, it just keeps getting better everyday. I’m now ready to showcase my love of trees through art. Each piece is carved directly from a part of me that loves, hurts and misses loved ones. You see the way I think and how I relate through my tree art is when our friends or family members pass, we never ever stop loving them do we ? So why do we neglect or stop loving our big beautiful trees after they fall ? Especially the magnificent giants like this big beautiful blue gum that we love so much. It breaks our hearts when they are coldly thrown through wood chippers. The flower show was our way of inspiring new thinking & to celebrate their lives and cherish them wherever we can. They only ever, shaded, loved and protected us. I never sketch design or plan, it just pours out of my heart. It’s a deeply emotional journey of a love for our trees and all things nature but also for those I’ve loved and lost. We have just wrapped up the @melbflowershow where I received the most incredible feedback from near on 100,000+ participants. So many beautiful souls who connected with my story and passion.
