The whole fam had an amazing time skating and chilling with @home_ave_diy crew and all the Dayton locals — seriously one of the most welcoming scenes we’ve experienced and a great event.
This was my first time taking the Lumix S5IIx out for a full day of shooting: one camera, one lens (24-105 f4), and no turning back. 📸

30yrs ago I bought my first pair of @roces_official majestic 12s. They were one of the first aggressive skates. Last year for my 44th birthday I treated myself to a new pair 30yrs later.

A look like this lives closer to f8.
Not because it is technically perfect, but because it feels honest.
Disposable cameras rarely isolated subjects with creamy backgrounds. Everything existed together. The people. The street. The atmosphere. The moment.
At f8 the world stays connected.
The environment matters just as much as the subject. Light wraps differently. Highlights bloom softer. Imperfections survive the image.
That is where this look comes from.
Chasing the film look is not nostalgia. It is unfinished business.
