Every once in a while I come across this video and I always take pause to watch it all the way through. Her voice, the delivery, the energy, the bass line, the groove. This was a special moment for me. I made a few mistakes and I wish I didn’t look like I was concentrating so hard, but I was! I could tell this arrangement and the way Tori delivered it was special and I did NOT want to mess that up. My favorite thing I’ve ever played on! Happy Mother’s Day to the kindest, most caring person I know. The way you love the people around you is something I admire about you. You make people feel safe, seen, supported, and loved, and I am so thankful Daisy gets to grow up with that example every single day. She is learning from someone with such a big heart, and that is one of the greatest gifts a daughter could have. We love you so much!
These milestones sneak up on you. One minute you are packing lunches and driving to school, the next minute you’re getting ready for junior prom. So proud of you, Daisy.
It’s been a while since I practiced guitar or learned a new song. I always have found it valuable to watch people learn and figure things out, so I figured I’d share this here. Warts and all! An actual dream come true happened today. My sweet and thoughtful husband arranged for us to hang out with HIGHLAND COWS. Ever since I was a kid I’ve loved these magical beings. I cannot say enough kind things about this place and this experience. We even got to BOTTLE FEED A BABY. Her name is Langley and she was born during the recent Nashville ice storm. She’s 3 weeks! I will never forget today. Go visit these beautiful animals and their wonderful caretakers at @truesouthfarm 🐮 🫶🏼😭 they spent so much time making this special and intimate experience for us. Thank you @travistingley I love you for this and so much more. 💕
