Well, we’re back to racing and not planning to stop anytime soon. For a while, I didn’t think I’d be racing again, but I decided to give it one last go and see if the fire was still there. It definitely is! I had a blast racing here at the track. The conditions were wet, but the track was still awesome. I felt great on the bike all weekend and had a lot of fun. I had a crash during practice, but luckily it was just a bit of bruising, so I still went on to race. I was a bit nervous since I hadn’t raced in over a year, but I missed those pre-race nerves. Sadly, 15 seconds into my race run, my front tire came to a dead stop because of all the mud in the first section, sending me over the bars. I was covered in mud, but I got back on the bike and continued, though I had absolutely no grip on the bars because of the mud on my hands and handles. I tried my best to hold on, but after almost crashing at the end of the section you see in the video, I had to stop and clear my hands and handlebars. I lost a lot of time doing that, but I’d rather do that than have no grip at all. I made it to the finish safe and sound and ended up second in the long jump contest 😂. I was a little disappointed because I didn’t have the best run, but I learned a lot. I now know that I still love racing and am very excited to continue. I know I have the speed to compete; I just need to get in good shape.

Last weekend race recap , Endured a brutal crash during practice on Friday, had a fun side-by-side ride down the mountain. Let’s start off with the beginning of the weekend, first Quebec Downhill championship in the the last three years so big props too @basmajor for organizing this awesome weekend!! I finished p4 in the downhill. I was aiming for more but made too many mistakes on top, but that’s racing. Sunday for the Enduro, my day ended vary fast( 20sec into the first stage fast) as you see in the last clip my crash, I went straight to the hospital after that.
