Tbilisi Electric Locomotive Manufacturing Plant is why the neighborhood was named თემქა in 1939, using the Georgian acronym of the factory name. This industrial giant is now being integrated back into the city as Loco Park @locoparktbilisi , a project layering green public spaces over the original concrete shells and rail tracks.
Aprilee @april_asantee and trappedrobii @trappedrobii performed for this session.
Aprilee moves from old-school hip-hop foundations into alternative trap. He is focused on the grit and the weight of the lyrics, using sounds that match the heavy infrastructure of the site.
trappedrobii works within the darker corners of underground trap. His sound is built on hazy, weighted textures, shifting between aggressive momentum and slower, industrial rhythms.
The set followed the pace of the site, moving between the new layers of the park and the original iron skeletons.
