"I have been writing for 44 years. I started as a kid just liking to draw and then wanting to put the work that I was practicing in books to walls. Some years heavier than others. It’s been a wild ride. I’m from Queens, NY. I’ve spent most of my time in Jamaica, Queens but then moved around a lot. I came up under the era of TPA crew, South Side, They were the biggest influences for me and my crew when we first started. Now that I’ve grown there have been so many painters that I really enjoy and learn from. From MC Escher and Gerhard Richter to Futura and Cey Adams. I like playing with all kinds of letter styles. I’ve always loved block letters and script. These days I’m working with more metal and wood in my abstract work @joelblenz . I have some digital art as well. I’m also dropping a toy very soon..."

This spot in the hood had never been touched before. The gate was high, and we thought if we could pull this off, it would be something special—colors they would appreciate and let it stand.
I managed to convince @edges_imaginary_fields and @enuf_if that I had scouted the location and knew the way in.
At the time, the climb seemed easy, but we didn’t anticipate having to navigate over all the bags of paint on our way in. The whole process took us about three hours.
Originally, we planned to create three pieces, but once we saw the limited space, Edge decided to focus on characters, allowing me and Enuf to rock our pieces. The design I worked on was an Edge sketch that I didn’t have enough time to practice or choose the perfect colors for, but I managed to come up with this version.
Thankfully, I had a camera so we took a night shot, because the next day they buffed it!
I wasn’t able to get up super early so when I drove by later that afternoon, it was gone.
I learned too many times, missing out on some instrumental young pieces of ours, make sure to at least get a flick before you leave.
Of course at the end we had to climb the back fence to get the high cheese spot 📸
