Starting a new courageous chapter unapologetic and unashamed of who I am and what we have. I don't know what the future holds but I appreciate the sense of belonging that both of us have in this moment. After an intense week, I am glad that I didn't miss out on this amazing event hosted by one of Gender Dynamix's partner organisations, S.H.E, in East London. Well done Leigh Ann and Team for putting together a great event in mentoring and building young transgender women through the Miss Trans Diva pageant. It was an honor to judge and also be a keynote speaker.

Mother's Day was filled with love and appreciation. Enjoying these precious moments with the women who raised me. They remain the grounding and guiding forces in my life.
A little bit of a throwback! These photos of me in my gender non-conforming days warms my heart. I appreciate and celebrate the different layers of my life as my life unfolds. Sure, there have been many moments of pain, self-hate and struggle. However, those negativities contributed to my growth as a person because I allowed it to. As a woman that happens to be transgender I embrace my GNC chapter of my life as part of my narrative. Onwards and forwards to a life and a story that continues to unfold!
As a transgender woman I have a number of insecurities that I constantly try to transcend. One of them is going to the beach in a swimming costume. These moments at the beach took me out of my comfort zone and was very self-affirming. Here is to many more summers and body confident moments to come!
