Today we celebrate a milestone we are very proud of: 5 Years of Transparent Audio. When we launched in 2020 during uncertain times, we had no idea how much love and support the label would receive. What began as a home for new talent has grown into something much bigger. It has become a family of artists, friends, and supporters who have shaped Transparent Audio into what it is today. Over these years, we have seen our artists push boundaries, develop their sound, and find their place in the ever growing Drum & Bass scene. It has not always been easy, but their dedication, creativity, and passion towards one another drive the label forward. To mark the anniversary, we are releasing a special compilation that brings it all together. Long-standing artists alongside exciting new faces, covering the full Transparent Audio sound. Including deep, minimal sonics, weighty rollers, soulful explorations, and everything in between. More than just a release, it reflects our journey so far and gives a glimpse of what is to come. Transparent Audio has always delovped a strong ethos of friendships, collaborations, and community and this shows since the beginning. To everyone who has supported us, whether from day one or just recently: Thank You. The past five years have been incredible, and this is just Part 1 of our celebrations., so keep those eyes peeled.

Following the success of our 5 Years VA, we’re thrilled to announce Part 2 of the celebration, a special remix project reimagining the Transparent Audio discography through the lens of some of our favourite artists in the scene right now. This release is a huge moment for us, bringing fresh energy and new perspectives to the music that’s defined our journey so far. It’s a perfect representation of the Transparent Audio sound, blending deep minimal grooves, soulful liquid textures, rolling rhythms, and everything in between. Each remix captures another aspect of what the label is all about: forward-thinking production, musicality, and a shared passion for pushing drum & bass forward. This project not only celebrates how far we’ve come but also rounds off our five-year milestone and closes out 2025 in true Transparent Audio style. We’d like to extend our deepest thanks to all the incredible artists involved in this project. Their creativity, dedication, and artistry continue to embody the heart and spirit of Transparent Audio. And finally, we’d like to give a huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey, from our artists and collaborators who’ve shaped our sound, to the listeners, friends, and supporters who’ve stood by us over the years. Transparent Audio: Remixed Out Now Off the back of the huge support throughout last month for the project, today 5 Years of Transparent Audio - Part 2, delivers 11 brand new remixes of some our favourite tracks from the labels back catalog. Transparent Audio is a label that consistently introduces me to new artists. 💿 Founded by Thomas Davies in 2020 with a core focus on building a platform for up-and-coming talent, he has built a really strong and supportive foundation. The sound spans across drum & bass, dubstep and 140, but there’s always a deeper, more thoughtful feel running through the releases. Revisiting Transparent Audio’s 5-year anniversary project recently reminded me how varied and well-curated the catalogue has already become. Vienna based artist Anvo steps into the spotlight with his debut EP ‘Gloom’ Marking the beginning of what promises to be a bright future, Anvo showcases a refined approach to sound design and groove, demonstrating a level of craftsmanship that sets him apart as an emerging talent to watch. Anvo delivers a collection of tracks that highlight his ability to balance dark atmospheric depth with driving rhythms. His attention to detail in sound design and his instinct for groove come together seamlessly, resulting in a release that feels both immersive and forward-thinking. Anvo began producing at just 15 in 2021, initially inspired by a close friend and a growing curiosity for the craft. Early influences come from discovering Visages’ Yalda EP, a release that plays a key role in shaping the direction of his sound, with the deeper, more nuanced edge of that ‘Critical’ sound, remaining a constant source of inspiration. He goes on to secure his first release with IN Recordings, followed by Empathy Audio, further cementing his evolving artistic identity. The story behind the EP is rooted in a real connection. We first met at our 5 Year event in Graz, Austria, where a brief introduction quickly developed into something more. Not long after returning to the UK, a folder of music from Anvo lands in our inbox, and it becomes clear almost immediately that there’s something special there. From that moment, the collaboration naturally takes shape. With ‘Gloom’, Anvo establishes a clear artistic identity while highlighting the role of connection and discovery at the core of the scene.
