Appreciation Post: 2025 was a good year for the beginnings of Transparency Booking. But it has not been good to me. Financial stress and work overload have put me to my limits. But I’ve recovered, learned from it and still created some beautiful memories. I want to say thank you to all the people who helped me to get through this struggle. If it was financially or just mentally, it meant and helped a lot. Thank you! You know who I mean! I also learnt a lot from the people that I’ve worked with. If it were people from the business, the neighborhood or the agency itself: I listened and watched. Thank you for sharing your experience with me! It’s also beautiful to be appreciated and loved by a scene that I appreciate and love. It helps me compensate all the horrible news that we face everyday. Now that I recovered mentally and physically I rejoined the club of loving what I do. And Transparency Booking will grow. More show announcements, new acts in the catalogue and a new website to present these amazing musicians! Starting April 8th with a new chapter! #newrelease on YouTube! The first instrument Annie Bloch played as a child was the church organ in her home town of Diepholz. Perhaps it was this instrument that later allowed her to write such hybrid and equally powerful and fragile music as a composer, because a church organ, with its various trades, also has a variety of sound colours that can be alienated and manipulated accordingly. As a singer-songwriter, Bloch, who now lives in Cologne, writes aesthetically and stylistically diverse pieces that are just as fond of the singability of folklore as they are of the artificial chords of jazz, the raw power of indie rock or the ritual rhythms of spiritual music. I DEPEND is an example of this. The songs are sometimes rhythmically fanned out, sometimes melodically leading, then again only perceptible as small pieces of a puzzle – and Bloch’s tentet is neither an orchestra nor a big band nor a large pop band.
