Love Stanley Park, but find it hard to get to?
We're exploring a new seasonal bus route designed to improve access to Stanley Park and make getting to key destinations easier by transit.
What’s being proposed:
✅ Better connections to park entrances and popular spots
✅ Simpler trips for both residents and visitors
✅ A stress‑free way to enjoy the park without driving or parking
Visit translink.ca/stanleypark by May 31 to take our survey and have your say.
New light technology on Transit Security cars helps create a calmer scene during emergencies.
“All that light saturation can be hard on our eyes, whether you’re a Transit Security Officer coming up on a scene, or a passing operator, driver or pedestrian,” said Shawn Blackwell, a Physical Security Investigator.
The technology allows vehicles to synchronize light intensity and patterns when they arrive on scene.
Industry research shows that more mellow lighting patterns improve safety.
If vehicles can sense each other and adjust their light output accordingly, it can create a safer situation.
⚽ To kick off FIFA World Cup 2026™ Vancouver, eight SoccerBuses are rolling out across the Lower Mainland soon.
