spring is my fav seasonnn. we’re waking up!! hibernation is OVER. the sun sets after 7pm!!! she smells fragrant and the petrichor is poppin off! long lake walks and bike rides are sooooo back. everyone forgot how to act right and are driving like lunatics and being weird in public (me included) bc we been inside for months. I’m turning into my mother bc I be taking pics of all the blooms. if u see me hug a tree on the lakefront, mind ur business!!! I delight in it allllll. 🌷🌱🍃🍄😌
march: dứa’s 7th bday, i got a custom mani for him by his godmother @nongtips and he didn’t care, fun art institute day w @lolo_agogo and @ken_nay_ , @loganridgeway bach in savannah, việt af in carol stream and march bdays at vai, i reached my goodreads goal for the first time in a long time, oolong stayed for a month, and im a ba dien baddie forever!!!
this lunar new year was a special one: it’s my third trip around the zodiac. not only am I a horse, my last name in chinese means horse. I’m HORSE GIRL FR FR! 🐎🐴🏇🏼
horses are independent, energetic, friendly, stubborn, adventurous, impulsive. i resonate with every part. this year being the fire horse means that things will move quickly and intensely and it certainly feels that way!!! horses already move fast, but combining it with fire makes it an inferno that can burn bright or burn you out.
i’ve been spending these last few years in a period of reflection and now reinvention. rebuilding your life after spending over a decade building one that ended is HARD. it’s lonely and challenging, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. it’s rewarding—this life is all mine and all because of me. you can really change your life anytime you want bb. feeling lucky and grateful ~ the world is my oyster!!!
my hope is for a year that burns bright! looking forward to what the rest of this year brings.
ps. I am scared of horses lol, but I really want to spend more time with them! they are so big and intimidating, but really have soft, spiritual souls. lots of ancient wisdom in them. i’ll be a real cowgirl one day! 🤠
