Caught this sunset last weekend. Still strange to think Saigon is my home after almost 7 years. Seven years… as long as I lived in Thailand and now I’ve lived over 1/3 of my life in Asia… Wasn’t planned, but nothing ever really is… I’m thankful for the life I have and thankful for those who live in it…
Being an entrepreneur can be one of the most physically, mentally and emotionally draining pursuits of your life.
It will rob you of free time, relationships, holidays and rest. That is just the reality.
But determination and grit will only take you so far if you neglect the one thing that makes all of it possible. Your health.
So no matter what is on your plate, take time to breathe. To step away from the demands and take care of yourself. Not as a reward. As a requirement.
For me that’s running. Find your run. Your dive. Your pickleball. Whatever clears your head, protects your energy and reminds you that you are more than your business.
That is what determines the longevity of your success.
Burnout is not an option.
