I made a list of 100 “ambient” songs from 100 different artists that I normally listen to while I solder / program / design pcbs. Not a single percussive sound, only melodic or drone. I put them all together on a Spotify list (the platform is not the best one tho), link in bio. I guess it’ll take me a couple of years again to make another one so I hope it helps some of you to discover new music meanwhile. That’s all for now, stay safe, play with your machines.

Previously presented at @modulardaybarcelona , it’s a nice tool to try new ideas much faster, so I am planning to release it as DIY kit at some point.

Still in prototype phase, here some of the specs:
• 3x digital ins (2 routed to the external interrupt input pins).
• 3x digital outs (+8V level, with monitoring LEDs).
• 3x analog ins (2 via attenuators normalled to +5V, 10-bit ADC).
• 2x analog outs (with monitoring leds, 0V to +10V or -5V to +5V, SPI 12-bit DAC).
• MIDI in & out (via TRS jacks).
• 1x momentary switch.
• 1x toggle switch.
• 2x programmable LEDs for visual feedback.
• Eurorack power input.
• All I/O pins are protected and can be isolated from the shield to try different pin configurations.

This book from 1977 is a very rare spaniard gem about designing synths of that time. Many of today’s manufacturers enjoy what we do thanks to information sources like this one, made by enthusiastic people that put time and effort into it. Glad to finally have found one.
