Weil wir irgendwie schon immer Teil davon waren. 😉
YOSTAR wurde 2018 gegründet – als Initiative für junge Architektur aus der Region Styria (Österreich und Slowenien), für Austausch, Sichtbarkeit und neue Perspektiven. Mit Ausstellungen in Graz, Maribor, Berlin und Brüssel.
Unsere Bürogründung folgte 2019.

Besonders schön: Unsere Architektin Petra Kickenweitz ist eine von den Initiator:innen von YOSTAR und seit 2025 mit aufrechter Befugnis unterwegs. 💥

In the first working days of the new year, we are continuing with the second phase of an urban planning workshop commissioned by the Municipality of Hrastnik.
The workshop focuses on the municipality’s most important development area: a former mining infrastructure zone layered with strong historical, spatial, and programmatic narratives. Working on such a site is both highly inspiring and a serious responsibility.
The workshop is structured around three parallel proposals. One is developed by @supa_studio_ in equal partnership with friends from the Vienna based @sipa_architektur , while the other two are prepared independently by colleagues form @transform_arh and @kombinat_arhitekti .
We are looking forward to the process and to the conclusions.
Prejeli smo 1. nagrado na javnem natečaju za Novogradnjo prizidka Fakultete za energetiko UM na lokaciji Vrbina v Mestni občini Krško.

Na natečaju za prizidavo lll. gimnazije smo ponudili alternativo pričakovani rešitvi: Telovadnice zaradi možnosti bistveno racionalnejše izvedbe nismo umeščali pod šolo, ca. 8,5m pod koto terena. Umestili smo jo ob načrtovani prizidek in na njej zgotovili ozelenjeno učno krajino.
Elaborat je kljub odstopanju od naloge prejel priznanje. Čestitke vsem nagrajencem!

The project “Between the hills and the stars” is formed by two residential houses, which are different in terms of design, but complement each other in a meaningful way due to their common location. The project consists of a house with a painting studio (A) and a house with a viewing terrace (B).
