We don't get everything right the first time. Especially because we are innovating and developing garments from scratch.
Here is a real example of where the Transform Transwear community made our products better.
When we first developed and started sampling our packing boxers, the leg and rise lengths weren't working for a lot of bodies. We knew we needed to do better before they'd be ready to go out into the world. So we turned to our testing panel — a group of community members who agreed to wear the garments and give us honest, detailed feedback. Their input directly shaped the dimensions we landed on. Those boxers exist in the form they do today because our community told us what actually worked for them. That's the only way this should be done.
Getting things right matters more to us than looking like we already have it figured out. The community doesn't just inspire us — they make us better at what we do.
If you've ever given us feedback, thank you. We're listening.

You know that feeling when you put something on and it's just... right?
Not just fits-well right. But YOU right. Where you catch yourself in the mirror and feel at home for a second.
We started this because that feeling shouldn't be rare. It shouldn't require hours of searching or settling or making do. It should just be Tuesday morning.
We're working on it. Every garment, every fitting, every piece of feedback — that's what we're working toward.
Tell us about a time getting dressed felt really good. We'd love to hear it.

Chest tissue isn't the same from person to person. We're not talking about size — we're talking about composition and where tissue naturally sits. Chest tissue exists on a spectrum from soft and fatty to firm and glandular, and where you sit on that spectrum affects how a binder needs to work.
Binding works by redistributing tissue across your chest wall, not compressing it into a smaller volume. Softer, fattier tissue moves easily and responds well to lighter compression. Firmer, denser, more glandular tissue is less mobile — a softer or narrower binder may struggle to shift it effectively, leaving you with less flatness than you'd hoped for, or tempting you to size down (which creates worse problems).
But here's something less talked about: soft, floppy tissue that sits low. This tissue redistributes easily — but a crop binder's panel doesn't extend far enough to contain it. Tissue escapes below the hem or spills to the sides, and no sizing adjustment will fix that. The panel simply isn't covering the right area.
For people with lower-sitting or floppy tissue, our tank binder is almost always the better choice — not because it compresses harder, but because its longer compression panel keeps tissue contained where it actually sits. This isn't true of all tank binders; some don't compress the full length of the garment the way ours do.
Our tank binder isn't just for people with a lot of chest tissue. It's for anyone whose tissue sits low, regardless of how much there is.

Since launching just over 2 years ago, we've done well over 1000 one-on-one chest binder fittings.
And we've learned a lot. About how our garments fit and perform on different bodies, about our customers and their personal journeys, about what our community needs.
One thing stands out - poorly designed chest binders, ill-fitting chest binders and binding tape can cause significant physical harm.
Our garments are designed to move with your body and not restrict breathing or movement like so many other chest binders do.
So what about tape? Especially tape designed for use on skin?
Even putting aside scarring - which is a well-documented result of taping - the problem we’ve experienced is that using tape leaves the level of compression to the user’s discretion. Meaning many people who use tape will bind tighter than what is safe. And we choose not to contribute to that problem.
We're not here to sell you everything. We're here to sell you what's safe for you — and to be honest when something isn't.
The perfect gift for someone you love. 💜 From pride pins to socks, our accessories collection is full of little things that make a big difference. Because everyone deserves to feel seen.

A new school term or a new job is a lot. If you're trans or nonbinary, it can come with a whole extra layer of stress about what's safe to be open about, what protections you actually have, and what to do if things go wrong.
Here's what you should know.
At school:
The Sex Discrimination Act 1984 and state-based equal opportunity laws prohibit discrimination on the basis of gender identity. Schools have a legal duty of care to protect students from foreseeable risks of harm. In practical terms, this means:
— You have the right to wear the uniform that matches your gender identity.
— Schools are required to have policies in place to protect you from discrimination.
— If your school is failing to support you, you have the right to make a complaint. Justice Connect (justiceconnect.org.au) offers free legal resources for trans and gender diverse students by state.
— Note: religious schools currently hold exemptions under federal law that can limit these protections — this remains an unresolved area of Australian law.
At work:
The Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Act confirmed that discrimination based on gender identity is prohibited under federal employment law — giving trans and gender diverse workers the same protections and remedies as other workers.
— Since 2024, organisations have a Positive Duty to actively eliminate discrimination, not just respond to complaints.
— If you experience workplace discrimination, you can contact the Fair Work Commission (fwc.gov.au) or the Australian Human Rights Commission (humanrights.gov.au).

You have rights. You deserve to know them.

This one's been sitting with us for a while, and you deserve to hear it from us directly.
We're discontinuing the Tripp suit.
We know some of you love it. Honestly, so do we. It's a beautiful piece of clothing, it fits well, and it means something to the people who wear it. That's not nothing — that's everything, actually.
But the reality of running a small brand in this space is that manufacturing a full range of suiting is expensive. The per-unit cost, the size runs, the fabric, the construction — it adds up in ways that make it genuinely unworkable for us at this stage. Continuing to offer it would compromise our ability to do everything else we do, and to grow in ways that serve more people.
So we made the call. It wasn't easy.
What this isn't: a reflection of whether formal and occasion wear matters for our community. It does. Gender-affirming formalwear is a real need and we haven't stopped thinking about how to solve it properly in the future.
For now — if you've been thinking about ordering a Tripp suit, this is your last chance. Once current stock is gone, it's gone.
Thank you for understanding. Thank you for caring about what we make. x
