Another fun filled day/evening carrying on my family’s most sacred tradition Serbian Christmas!! Such a great weekend with family and honoring those in the family who are no longer with us 🇷🇸🎄🎉❤️. Sober October ✅ and on through November I go. A lot of you have asked if this is a permanent thing, it’s a day by day thing with the goal of going a whole year sober and then figuring it out from there. I got to that point where I was just exhausted of running from my past and all the shit in my life that I forever kept sweeping under the rug. Bottling it up with bourbon and other substances for the quick fix and then consumed by the depression of it all the next day or after a bender and then repeat and that’s been the cycle for a long fuckin while. I started a twelve step program at the beginning of October along with therapy to finally deal with all my demons. I’m definitely better today than I was yesterday, I’m naturally a positive, happy, loving, selfless, empathetic individual and I look forward to being constant with those qualities as I move forward on this journey. I do appreciate the sincere support and love from my family, my friends and fans over the last month, truly am so very grateful for your heartfelt kindness. Here’s to new beginnings and the pure heart of a healing path. Thank you ❤️.
