There’s nothing like a shared suffer-fest to bring people together 🫶 And #2 Cradle did exactly that! It delivered on every level, the single track, the mud, the views. This is mountain biking at its best 😮‍💨

What an incredible day at #2 Cradle 🤩 The trails were muddy, but the vibes were loud. ⭐️ Every single one of you showed us what mountain biking is all about; a shared passion for the trails. Thank you for joining us ❤️‍🔥 Van Gaalen is up next on 6 June. See you on the trails. ⛰️

Your Ford Trailseeker #2 Cradle Elite Women’s podium 🏆 A fast start saw Vera Looser and Sam Sanders break away from the field early. The two traded blows for most of the race, playing cat and mouse until 10km from the finish where Vera found another gear and made it stick. Sam held strong for second. Behind them Danielle du Toit rode a gutsy solo race to take third, with Sarah Mare in fourth and Frances Jansen van Rensburg rounding out the top five. 🥇 Vera Looser | 03:04:34 🥈 Samantha Sanders | 03:05:10 🥉 Danielle du Toit | 03:15:09 4th Sarah Mare | 03:18:47 5th Frances Jansen van Rensburg | 03:23:40

Fast and furious from the start. 💣🏎️ Marc Pritzen set the tone early and put the hammer down. By the 25km mark he’d put a gap on the rest and there was no coming back. Jaedon Terlouw held firm in second while the real battle was brewing behind him. Inus du Preez pulled it back and outsprinted Arno du Toit for third. Arno held on for fourth with his team mate, Jan Withaar rounding out a strong top five. 🥇 Marc Pritzen | 02:31:24 🥈 Jaedon Terlouw | 02:34:24 🥉 Inus du Preez | 02:34:59 4th Arno du Toit | 02:35:03 5th Jan Withaar | 02:36:21
