When they cracked jokes about my nails, they had no idea 🤭
This was definitely a moment- not only for the memory books, but for all of the good things you could think of. We were on day four of
@trailherox and I got a call over the radio asking where we were because
@i_am_7sins hydro assist bracket broke off.
Obviously we didn’t waste any time, and Naomi flipped the Jeep around faster than I move when hiding pop tarts from my husband 😂
My favorite part of the story was being very kindly asked to go ahead and tack the bracket and let the big boys do the welding. I just quietly mentioned that I’ve welded a few times before 😜 My Dad
@epicadventureduo followed up immediately with telling them welding is my career. They immediately said that we should’ve started with that, and allowed me to take the reins! The next words coming out of their mouths were how impressed they were. That felt like a zillion bucks!
I do want to preface the fact that I’m not naming who said it, because they genuinely meant it out of love and just didn’t know my background. Not once did I feel disrespected in any way possible, and it didn’t change how I feel about them either- because it’s nothing but love and real people discussing real topics.

@karnagewelder for hooking us up with this tool that will last a lifetime. I have never in my life thrown a better flux core weld, nonetheless seen one that good! I am one happy camper!
I’m thankful that I got to take part in putting on a whole show on the side of the highway 🤣 Welding in my yoga pants while the guys hang around making sure I’ve got what I need and cheering me on. That’s what it’s all about- leave the ego at home and just have fun. That’s what we did!
