The sobering truth: demand for s*x drives the demand for and further exploitation of girls, boys, men, and women.
If people weren’t willing to pay for s*x with young girls and boys (as an example), there would be no incentive for traffickers to sell them for s*x.
Sadly, this number is often much larger, however we chose to lean toward the modest number in an effort to prevent sensationalism.*

This matters deeply—because Black girls are disproportionately impacted by trafficking, Black women’s contributions have too often been overlooked or erased, and policy solutions must thoughtfully address racial bias within the systems meant to protect children.

As we approach the end of another year, we've been reflecting on the incredible courage of the young survivors we walk alongside every single day.
