You may have heard me mention “Blue Mind”.
Here’s the thing about blue mind — it’s not just a vibe, it’s science.
Being near water actually lowers your cortisol.
The late Wallace Nichols built a whole movement around it,
and at one point you could support the cause by buying a blue marble
from his Blue Mind Movement site.
Very on brand, very cool.
I saw the offer on Instagram and thought, I need one of those.
The universe heard me.
The very next day, I looked down in a parking lot — mid-helmet-strap, about to start a bike ride —
and there it was.
A blue marble.
Just sitting at my feet like it had an appointment.
I did not buy it.
I did not order it.
It just showed up,
the way things do when you’re paying attention.
You can’t make this stuff up. And honestly, you don’t have to.

There's no better way for me to celebrate Earth Day than to offer you a special experience in nature.
Get ready find your flow on a paddleboard and unleash your inner artist in this chill outdoor adventure.
Feel the flow of the water and watercolors as we combine OneTreeLove's Paddle YogAdventure with a watercolor workshop with me.
In this chill adventure, we will connect with the calming effect of the water (blue mind) and energetic effect of being surrounded by trees (green mind) and then paint the feeling!
Practice your blue-green mindset with a paddleboard yogAdventure on a calm in-land lake with OneTreeLove guide Lisa Meranti. Paddling and gentle yoga instructions provided; standing on the board is optional.
Carry your blue-green mindset onto land and paper with paint where I will lead you through a watercolor flow practice that captures what you felt while on the water.
Painting supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
Space is limited to 12 people, 6 rental board packages available.
Optional: Bring a lunch to enjoy in community on the lake shore. Cold brew Storehouse Tea provided.
Fee: $85 for the 2.5 hour session (bring your paddle gear; art supplies provided) or $115 for the session + board rental package; processing fees and donation to Richfield Heritage Preserve included; Richfield resident 10% discount upon request.
Level/Ages: open to ages 18+ (youth must have guardian supervision); All participants must be able to swim.
Gear: Bring drinking water, board, paddle, leash, life jacket, and anchor (optional); RENTAL PACKAGE includes board, paddle, leash, life jacket, anchor, and dry bag.
Safety practices: Life jackets are required. Leashes are highly recommended. In the event of thunder and lightning, a cancellation and refund may occur up to a hour prior or delay for maximum of one hour.
Cancellations/Refunds: If we need to cancel due to weather, we make that determination 2 hours in advance when possible and notify via email or phone call. You will have the option to reschedule to the rain date of Sun, August 9 or get 100% refund.
