Rooted in the city’s evolving bass music scene, Traction has built a reputation for championing deep, dark, and forward-thinking DnB through carefully curated lineups and immersive sound system culture.
Regularly collaborating with local crews and promoters under the banner ‘The Connect’, Traction Soundsystem has hosted and supported both international and Australian artists including Kyrist, Visionobi, GEST, Satl, Conrad Subs, Truth, Nightshift, Royalston, Sola, Mrs Magoo, Ben Soundscape & Collette Warren.
Over the past 5 years Traction has built a commitment to authentic rave aesthetics and community-driven dance floors. The crew has been invited to host takeovers at Raindance, Blossom & Lost Inbetween Festivals and always comes back to its spiritual home at Abode Camp at Blazing Swan Festival each year.
