It looked like a dream.
It felt like heaven touching earth.
I’ve been holding my thoughts since Friday, trying to string together words that could express the power and presence of the Lord at this holy union. I’ve attended numerous weddings, all beautiful, all significant—but this one was different. There was a grace and a goodness—a holy heaviness — letting everyone know this was truly a match made in heaven. A covenant created and signed off by the Lord himself. If you know Meshali and Alex, you understand why this union, this love, this new family is so uniquely wonderful. They exemplify everything the Lord defines as “love”… giving, selfless, nurturing, patient, kind, and generous. It’s easy to look into their future and see that this marriage is the fulfillment of sacrifice, intercession, prophecy, and destiny. I cannot wait to see how God completes their story, line by line, chapter after chapter. I do know their story holds the greatest happy-ever-after because its foundation is sure and solid, rooted in the heart of their Savior.
