I would like to take a moment to congratulate the remarkable individuals who make up this year's YWCA Women of Achievement class. Yesterdays luncheon celebrating their accomplishments was truly inspiring. As one of the 2024 recipients, I am honored to be associated with the YWCA and proud of its mission. I offer my sincere appreciation to President Rickell Howard Smith for her dedication. It was a privilege to share in the honoring of Cheryl Long, Kiana Trabune, and the entire class of outstanding women. I was fortunate to share this experience with my Link sisters, and we were all proud to see Michelle Hopkins serve as the exceptional emcee.

I would like to extend congratulations to Christie Kuhns and The Urban League of Southwest Ohio on the success of their luncheon today. The honorees have left lasting impressions on our city. I offer my blessings to each honoree for their hard work and commitment. It was a privilege to attend and celebrate their achievements and I was also there in honor of my mother, the late Susan Upton Farley, a Lions honoree in the class of 2013.

RIP Rev. Williams. Thank you for being a true servant leader. Growing up in the zone 15 area I saw then and now your impact. You built senior housing, Pastored a congregation lovingly and built lasting friendships. Your friendship with my mother was a blessing and you extended your love and kindness to our family. I remember reaching out to you to ask you to be a workshop clinician at my annual conference. In your class “mission impossible” you shared about your mission work abroad and its impact. Your support of my alma mater Princeton high school continued annually with you being apart of the Thanksgiving food boxes.
